Built from dashboard data

What this tool tracks

Historical clan war records covering multiple wars—not a snapshot of only the current or most recent war.

An all-wars member performance summary that aggregates every available regular war and recorded attack—not a summary of one war.

Every recorded attack in each war, including stars, destruction, new stars, Town Hall difference, map position difference, and missed attacks.

Identify missed attacks before they become a repeated pattern.

Compare offensive output with defensive outcomes through net gain and star-rate distributions.

Spot consistent attackers and interpret results using Town Hall and map-position difficulty.

Distinguish cleanup-heavy results from attacks that added meaningful new stars.

How ClansHQ helps

No login is needed to open a clan dashboard.

Free analytics help leaders review wars without spreadsheets or screenshots.

Fast clan lookup makes it simple to move from a clan tag to war statistics.

Deep historical war views reveal performance and participation trends that a single-war snapshot cannot show.

Metric glossary

Every metric and table heading explained

The definitions below cover every performance metric available in the summary and breakdown views, including headings that change when you select a different data view.

All-wars Summary metrics

These headings aggregate every available regular war and recorded attack into one historical member war performance summary.

Members
Member name and clan role. The heading sorts members by their available clan rank.
Average Stars
Total stars earned divided by all recorded regular-war attack opportunities, including confirmed missed attacks.
Average New Stars
Total stars newly added to the clan score divided by all recorded attack opportunities.
Missed
Confirmed unused regular-war attacks shown as a missed count with its share of available attack opportunities.
Net Gain
Total new stars earned by the member minus stars from the best recorded opposing attacks against that member's base.
Attack 3-Star %
Percentage of recorded regular-war attack opportunities that produced three stars.
Attack 2-Star %
Percentage of recorded regular-war attack opportunities that produced two stars.
Attack 1-Star %
Percentage of recorded regular-war attack opportunities that produced one star.
Attack 0-Star %
Percentage of recorded regular-war attack opportunities that produced zero stars.
Defense 3-Star %
Percentage of recorded best opponent attacks against the member's base that produced three stars.
Defense 2-Star %
Percentage of recorded best opponent attacks against the member's base that produced two stars.
Defense 1-Star %
Percentage of recorded best opponent attacks against the member's base that produced one star.
Defense 0-Star %
Percentage of recorded best opponent attacks against the member's base that produced zero stars.

War Breakdown attack metrics

The Default, Stars, Destruction %, and New Stars Obtained views describe every available regular war and both recorded attack attempts.

Members
Member name and clan role, sortable by the available clan rank.
Average Stars
Stars earned divided by recorded attack opportunities in the available regular-war history.
Total Stars
Sum of stars earned across recorded regular-war attacks; displayed in the focused Stars view.
Average Destruction %
Total destruction percentage divided by recorded attack opportunities; labeled Avg. % in the table.
Total New Stars
Sum of stars newly added to the clan score; labeled Total New in the focused New Stars view.
Average New Stars
Total new stars divided by recorded attack opportunities; labeled Avg. New in the table.
War Attack 1 and Attack 2
Each war cell shows both member attack attempts. The combined view displays Stars / Destruction % / New Stars, while focused views display one metric or mark the attack Missed.
War Attacks / Stars / Destruction %
Each opponent header shows the clan's total attacks, stars, and destruction percentage for that war, with its win, loss, tie, or preparation state.

War Breakdown matchup comparison metrics

Town Hall Comparison and Map Position Comparison add target difficulty to the same attack-by-attack historical war data.

Town Hall Comparison
Shows the attacker's Town Hall level, the target's Town Hall level, and their signed difference for each attack.
Average Town Hall Difference
Average signed Town Hall difference across attacks with both levels available. Positive values mean the attacker was higher; negative values mean the attacker hit up.
Map Position Comparison
Shows the attacker's map position, the target's map position, and their signed difference for each attack.
Average Map Position Difference
Average signed map-position difference across attacks with both positions available. It supplies lineup context rather than measuring stars directly.
Comparison Average Stars
Average stars for the same attacks displayed beside either comparison view.
Comparison Average Destruction %
Average destruction for the same attacks displayed beside either comparison view.

How to use the tracker

A practical guide to reading your clan data

Analyze historical clan war records

The War Tracker is built for historical analysis across multiple recorded wars, not a snapshot of one current or recent war. It preserves opponents, results, clan totals, member participation, and attack-level details so leaders can identify meaningful trends.

Use the accumulated history to distinguish repeated patterns from an isolated good or bad war. As more wars are recorded, the same views organize them into a growing historical record.

Read the member war performance summary

The All-wars Summary aggregates every available regular war and every recorded member attack into one sortable performance row per member. It summarizes the complete available war history, not the current war, the latest war, or one selected matchup.

Average Stars shows raw output across that full history, Average New Stars focuses on stars added to the clan score, and Missed identifies unused attacks across all available regular wars.

Net Gain compares a member's new stars with the best opposing attacks against that member's base. The attack and defense star-rate columns then show how often each side produced zero, one, two, or three stars.

Use breakdown views for context

Switch to Breakdown to inspect every recorded war and both member attack attempts. The combined view shows stars, destruction, and new stars together; focused views make each metric easier to scan and sort.

Town Hall Comparison and Map Position Comparison reveal matchup difficulty. They help separate a weak result on an ambitious hit from a weak result against an equal or lower target.

Track groups of members

Use left-click for Group 1 and right-click for Group 2 to highlight two cohorts, such as the main war roster and developing players. Pinned groups remain easy to find after sorting.

Table settings can save the presentation you prefer and synchronize highlights with CWL, helping leaders review the same candidates across both competitive formats.

Evaluate performance fairly

Start with reliability, then combine new stars, destruction, matchup difficulty, and defensive results. A single total can hide cleanup attacks, risky targets, difficult bases, or missed opportunities.

Look for trends across several wars and use the tracker as evidence for coaching and roster conversations, not as an automatic ranking system.
