Sync Member Highlights Across Every Clash of Clans Table

Use two saved member groups across ClansHQ Members, War, CWL, and Capital Raid tables, with one-time or continuous highlight synchronization.

Clash of Clans leadership decisions rarely belong to only one part of the game. A member being considered for a Clan War League lineup may also need to be reviewed in regular Wars, the current clan roster, and recent Raid Weekends. ClansHQ now makes that workflow easier by bringing its two saved member highlight groups to the Members, War, CWL, and Capital Raid tables—and allowing each group to synchronize across all four.

The result is a simple cross-table organization system. A clan leader can mark a set of members once, move between different analytics views, and keep the same group available without maintaining a separate list.

Quick answer

ClansHQ provides two mutually exclusive member highlight groups across all four clan analytics tables:

  • Members for reviewing the current roster, roles, Town Hall levels, trophies, donations, and Overall Impact
  • War for regular Clan War participation and performance
  • CWL for Clan War League seasons, rounds, and member results
  • Capital Raid for Raid Weekend attacks, Capital Gold, participation, and Impact

On desktop, left-click a member row for Group 1 and right-click it for Group 2. On a touch device, tap once for Group 1, tap again for Group 2, and tap a third time to clear the highlight.

Each group has its own synchronization setting. Use One-time sync to merge the current assignments across the tables once, or enable Sync highlights across tables to propagate later additions and removals automatically.

What member highlight synchronization means

Highlight synchronization connects a saved group by member tag across the Members, War, CWL, and Capital Raid tables for the same clan. It does not copy performance statistics between tables. It carries only the organizational assignment: whether a member belongs to Group 1 or Group 2.

This distinction matters because every table answers a different question. The Members table describes the current roster. War and CWL summarize different competitive formats. Capital Raid focuses on Raid Weekend activity. Synchronization gives those separate datasets a shared layer for the leader's own categories.

For example, Group 1 might represent likely CWL participants while Group 2 represents alternatives. After synchronizing the groups, a leader can:

  1. Review the current roster and Overall Impact in Members.
  2. Compare regular War consistency in War.
  3. Inspect past league performance in CWL.
  4. Check Raid Weekend participation in Capital Raid.

The group labels remain deliberately neutral. ClansHQ does not define Group 1 as “good” or Group 2 as “bad,” and a highlight is not a recommendation or verdict about a player. For more examples, see how the two Clash of Clans member highlight groups work.

One-time sync versus continuous sync

ClansHQ provides two synchronization choices because not every clan uses the same categories in every table.

One-time sync

One-time sync combines all existing assignments for the selected group and saves the combined set across Members, War, CWL, and Capital Raid. Duplicate member tags are removed automatically.

The merge is additive, so an assignment already present in one table is not silently replaced by a different table's list. If Group 1 contains one set of members in War and another set in Capital Raid, the synchronized result contains both sets.

One-time sync does not enable continuous synchronization. After the merge, each table can diverge again as new changes are made.

Continuous synchronization

Enable Sync highlights across tables for Group 1 or Group 2 when future changes should remain aligned. Turning it on first performs the same lossless merge as One-time sync. Later additions and removals for that group are then applied across every table.

The preference is independent for each group. Group 1 can remain continuously synchronized while Group 2 stays table-specific, or both groups can use the same synchronization behavior.

Highlight behavior in Members and Capital Raid

The Members and Capital Raid tables now follow the same interaction model already used by War and CWL:

  • A member belongs to at most one highlight group in the active table.
  • Assigning Group 1 removes Group 2 for that member, and assigning Group 2 removes Group 1.
  • Group 1 uses a bookmark icon and the alternate neutral row treatment.
  • Group 2 uses a pin icon and the primary neutral row treatment.
  • The footer reports Member count, Unassigned, Group 1, and Group 2 totals for the members represented in the table.
  • Assignments are saved in browser storage for the relevant clan.

The same controls work with the sortable columns in both tables. A leader can therefore organize the roster while comparing Clash of Clans clan members and Impact scores, or keep selected members visible while reviewing Raid Weekend attacks and loot.

Table Settings for every analytics area

The settings button in each table now opens a consistent Table Settings experience. Impact options appear as a dedicated item inside the panel, keeping calculation controls available without crowding the main settings screen.

Group 1 and Group 2 each provide:

  • Top, Neutral, or Bottom pin location
  • Hide highlighted-member formatting without deleting the saved assignment
  • One-time sync when continuous synchronization is off
  • Sync highlights across tables for automatic future propagation
  • A group-specific delete action

The Delete all highlights action remains available when both groups should be cleared. If continuous synchronization is enabled for a group, deleting that group's assignments also keeps the other tables aligned. The deletion changes only saved highlight membership; it does not delete clan, member, War, CWL, or Capital Raid data.

The ClansHQ Table Settings guide explains pin position, hidden formatting, and calculation controls in more detail.

Exclude the latest Raid Weekend from calculations

Capital Raid Table Settings now includes Exclude latest Weekend from calculations. This is useful while the newest Raid Weekend is incomplete or when a leader wants to compare completed weekends without a partial event affecting the result.

When enabled, ClansHQ leaves the latest weekend visible in the table but removes it from calculated:

  • Capital Raid summary totals and averages
  • Member attack and Capital Gold totals and averages
  • Participation calculations
  • Capital Raid Impact scores

The Members table does not include an “Exclude latest” control because it represents the current roster rather than a sequence of historical events. War and CWL retain their relevant latest-event calculation controls.

For the underlying score definitions, read the War, CWL, Capital Raid, and Overall Impact formulas. The Capital Raid Tracker guide explains the weekend-level fields shown alongside those calculations.

A practical cross-table review workflow

A synchronized highlight group is most useful when it supports a question rather than replacing judgment. One practical workflow is:

  1. Start in Members and highlight the roster segment you want to review.
  2. Use One-time sync if you only need a snapshot, or enable continuous synchronization for an ongoing group.
  3. Move to War and CWL to compare participation, missed attacks, matchup context, and performance.
  4. Open Capital Raid to add Raid Weekend participation and contribution context.
  5. Adjust the group's pin location in each table so it fits that table's task.
  6. Clear the group when the review is complete, without changing the underlying analytics.

Highlight groups can keep the same members recognizable, but the data still needs context. A missed attack does not explain why it happened, high Capital Gold does not prove overall skill, and one Impact score should not decide a lineup by itself.

Where highlights are saved

ClansHQ saves highlight assignments and table preferences in browser storage. They remain available for the same browser and clan, but they are not account-based cloud data and should not be expected to appear automatically on another device.

“Sync highlights across tables” means synchronization between ClansHQ analytics tables in that browser. It does not mean cross-device synchronization.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same highlighted members in War, CWL, Members, and Capital Raid?

Yes. Run One-time sync for a single merge or enable Sync highlights across tables for the relevant group. ClansHQ will carry that group's member-tag assignments across all four tables for the clan.

Does One-time sync overwrite one table with another?

No. It combines the saved assignments for the selected group, removes duplicates, and writes the resulting union across the tables.

Can Group 1 sync while Group 2 remains separate?

Yes. Synchronization is configured independently for Group 1 and Group 2.

Does hiding highlight formatting remove a member from the group?

No. It hides the row color and icon while preserving group membership, pin behavior, and synchronization.

Does excluding the latest Raid Weekend hide that weekend?

No. The weekend stays visible. ClansHQ excludes it from Capital Raid totals, averages, participation calculations, and Impact until the setting is turned off.

Are synchronized highlights shared between devices?

No. Highlight assignments are browser-local. Cross-table synchronization keeps the tables aligned in that browser; it does not create an online account or cloud-synced list.

Keep one review group visible across the clan dashboard

ClansHQ brings Members, regular Clan War, Clan War League, and Capital Raid analytics together so leaders can compare more than one signal. Cross-table member highlights add a consistent organizational layer to those views without assigning fixed meanings or changing the underlying records.

Search for your clan on ClansHQ, open any analytics table, and create a Group 1 or Group 2 that can follow your review across the dashboard.
